These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Smart Tools mobile application (“the App”), published by Venusapps Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is a collection of utility tools, including a spirit level, compass, ruler, measurement and augmented-reality distance/height tools, camera protractor, construction calculators (such as concrete, flooring, paint, tile, and pipe), unit converters, sensor readouts (such as sound level, light, magnetic field, altitude, and vibration), and local project saving with optional PDF export. The App does not require an account.
The App is provided free of charge and may be supported by advertising. It is offered “as is”, and your use of it is entirely at your own risk.
Accuracy notice: The App’s tools rely on your device’s sensors and cameras, which vary in precision between devices and conditions. All readings, measurements, and calculator results are estimates for general informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional-grade instruments or professional advice, and must not be relied upon for engineering, construction, safety, medical, navigational, legal, or financial decisions.
Because the App is free (and/or ad-supported) and the results it produces are estimates, we accept no responsibility or liability for any incorrect, inaccurate, or imprecise measurement, calculation, or sensor reading, nor for any loss, cost, damage, injury, or other consequence arising from relying on them. You are solely responsible for verifying any result with appropriate professional tools or advice before acting on it.
The free App may display third-party advertisements (including banners and full-screen interstitial ads) served by Google AdMob and mediation partners (such as Unity Ads, InMobi, and Meta Audience Network). Ad partners may collect limited device and advertising data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads. Clicking an ad may take you to a third-party site or app subject to that party’s terms and privacy practices.
You agree that you will not:
Certain tools request device permissions (such as camera, microphone, location, motion sensors, and network access) to function. You may grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings. How permission-related data and advertising data are handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
The App may offer optional paid features or upgrades (“Pro”), including features that remove or reduce ads where offered. Any purchase is processed by the app store from which you downloaded the App (for example, Google Play or the Apple App Store), and is subject to that store’s terms, pricing, and refund policies. We do not process or store your payment details.
The App, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Venusapps Private Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any reading or result will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Venusapps Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or property, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including any reliance on measurements, calculations, or sensor readings produced by the App, or any interaction with third-party advertisements.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms remain in effect while you use the App. You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Venusapps Private Limited operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory consumer rights you may have that cannot be waived.
