In short: Smart Tools stores your measurements, projects, and settings locally on your device. We do not run our own backend that receives your personal data, and we do not sell your information. The free App is ad-supported (Google AdMob and mediation partners), so advertising partners may receive limited device and advertising data needed to show ads.
Smart Tools (“the App”) is a multi-tool utility application published by Venusapps Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). It provides a spirit level, compass, ruler and measurement tools, AR distance/height measurement, a camera protractor, construction calculators, unit converters, sensor readouts, and optional local project saving / PDF export.

We do not require you to create an account. We do not operate servers that store your measurements, projects, or settings.
Data the App creates — such as saved measurements, projects, calculator history, protractor history, calibration profiles, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. Clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App removes it.
The App includes a local analytics stub that logs tool open/close events only on the device for development diagnostics. It does not send those events to our servers. If we add a remote analytics product later, we will update this policy first.
Separately, advertising SDKs (see below) process limited technical and advertising data to deliver and measure ads.
Permissions are requested only to power specific tools. Sensor and camera data are shown to you in the App and are not uploaded by us to Venusapps servers.

You can grant or revoke permissions in system settings. Denying a permission disables related features; the rest of the App continues to work.
The free App shows ads (for example banners and interstitials) through Google AdMob. Ad serving may use mediation partners including Unity Ads, InMobi, and Meta Audience Network.
These partners may collect or receive information such as advertising identifiers (for example Google Advertising ID / IDFA where available), IP address, device type and OS version, app identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, and ad interaction data, in order to serve, personalize (where allowed), and measure ads.
We do not sell your personal information. Advertising partners process data under their own policies. You can limit personalized ads in your device settings (for example reset or opt out of ad personalization) and, where required by law, through a consent form (UMP / CMP) shown in the App.
On Android, the App may check the public Play Store listing over HTTPS to see whether a newer version is available and optionally prompt you to update. That check does not send your measurements or projects to us.
If you use Share or open an email / web link, your device sends content only to the app or destination you select.
The App embeds advertising SDKs (AdMob and mediation adapters). It does not currently embed a separate first-party analytics or crash-reporting backend operated by Venusapps. App-store privacy practices apply to installation and any in-app purchases made through those stores.
The App is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App in a way that concerns you, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Local App data is protected by your device security (screen lock, OS app sandbox). Keep your device software up to date. Advertising traffic uses the partners’ network connections and security practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
