1. Who we are
Smart Tools ("the App") is a multi-tool utility application that provides a spirit level, compass, measurement and AR distance/height tools, construction calculators, and sensor readouts. 2. Data we collect
We do not operate any servers that receive your data, and we do not require you to create an account. The App does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or device identifiers for tracking purposes.
Any data the App creates — such as saved measurements, calculator history, and your settings — is stored locally on your device and never leaves it. Removing this data is as simple as clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.
3. Device permissions
The App requests certain device permissions only to power specific tools. These permissions are used in real time on your device; the resulting sensor data is shown to you and is not recorded, uploaded, or shared.

You can grant or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device's system settings. Denying a permission only disables the related tool; the rest of the App continues to work.
4. How your information is used
Because the App processes everything locally, the only "use" of sensor and input data is to display the readings and results you asked for. We do not profile you, serve targeted advertising, or build any record of your activity.
5. Sharing your data
We do not share your data with third parties, because we do not collect or have access to it. If you choose to use the App's "Share" feature, the content you share (for example, a measurement result) is sent only to the app or contact you select, through your own device.
6. Third-party services
The App does not embed third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. If you download the App from a store (such as Google Play or the Apple App Store), that store's own privacy practices apply to your download and any in-app purchase you make through them. 7. Children's privacy
The App is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Data security
Your data stays on your device and is protected by your device's own security (such as your screen lock and the operating system's app sandboxing). We recommend keeping your device software up to date.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
